Letter to Pepe - Hate in Modern America

Hey Pepe,
Congratufreakinglations! You’ve done it! You’ve fought back against the tyranny of the Spanish conquistadors and protected your people from the cruelties of imperialism! Under impossible odds, you’ve endured through hate and shown only love. I’m writing to you today, hundreds of years in the future, to ask for your advice. You are all too familiar with the vile by-products of hate. My country is in danger of repeating the horrors you faced; unfortunately, we are losing this battle. Hatred and xenophobia infect my people, turning them against one another. In such trying times, how can we, like you, see through hate and pursue love? How can we spread kindness, not war? How can we ensure the world of love you fought for remains?

To American Feminists, The notion of our veil is a poorly constructed one in American society, especially after the disastrous strike in Sep.11 th , 2001, reflecting the mass misrepresentation of women’s lives in Arab.
